life and after it

Ana Escalante Neri (1978-2007)

Immortalizing Ana by this simple cross that bears some of her ashes. It is now in the depth of Lagundi Reef in barangay Poblacion, Talisay City. The scuba divers of TCSLAI brought it there this morning after Fr. Tito and Fr. Murphy had blessed it.

See the names? Her fellow divers will always be with her (apart from their personal things placed in this pot), so she won't be alone as she continues her exploration underwater. To Ana, although we never actually met, vaya con dios!

Ana

in the same note...

Feebee asked "what happens after life."

If we really have souls, and if there's no heaven nor hell for us to go, then my afterlife would be spent scuba diving wherever there are jaw-dropping scenes under (the place where the remains of Titanic and Alexandria would also be in my list); paragliding; treasure hunting; mummy-hunting in Eygpt kaha; or doing death-defying adventures I've been wanting to try but never had the chance to. In short, I'd still be enjoying my (after)life. But I'm not going yet.
