from now on, we're all in this together

Borat

This is so funny. I like that part when Borat offered a piece of cheese to a former governor (?) of a US state and when the guy was already chewing his part of the cheese, Borat told him it was made from his wife's tit's milk. Hahaha! You just can imagine the former guv's face while trying to swallow down the cheese. Yes, the guy is a real former politician, and Borat came to see him as part of his "documenting" America and its whatevers. Watch this film, it is even hilarious.

Apocalypto

This is one of the best movies I've seen in my lifetime. There maybe a lot of disturbing scenes but pirated copies will help you deal with that. I like that part where a woman (Jaguar Paw's wife) delivers her baby while most part of her body, except the head, is submerged to the water, and she just picks her baby from down under. That is something. Maybe the first in moviemaking. But this is not just a product of Mel Gibson's creative mind, it speaks about courage and brevity. Taking from that observation, I think a person lives longer when he wants to live longer. Like he can never die if he does not want to die. I saw similar scenario just last Friday when an angry guy from nowhere driving a multicab was bumping his car to practically every car in the parking lot (somewhere along the way ni sya). In just a span of five minutes at least five cars were heavily damaged and his multicab, after trying to do the same harm to a nearby car, went turtle. And the driver, the angry guy, whom we thought was already dead after that brief incident, came out of his car and from his looks he seemed like he was ready to continue the bumping spree. I swear, there was not a single scratch in his body even if his car had already turned into a pulp. The power of brevity? Or in this case, drugs. I don't know.

I still have to watch Dreamgirls, Babel, Ugly Betty (yeah, I have the first season na!), Grey's Anatomy (3 seasons), Prestige, and at least 10 more movies (and TV series). All DVD copies for only P400!!! And all are pirated. Ssshhhh...ay'g saba!
